Love it! But I have half inch shaggy carpet and a half inch of padding under that. 🤣🤷

Yup, and It's a lot easier when you're zonked on cannabis.

it's good for your back if the floor is carpeted but it's miserable for your hips if it isn't. I had to stop sleeping on the floor because I found a pincherbug in my ear. It was dead and covered in ear wax. I guess that's why theyre called earwigs. Don't be a neanderthal just get a firm mattress.

Yes! My hubby and I have been sleeping on a shikibuton (mattress) with a kakebuton (quilt/doona) for years. We also don’t own a couch/sofa, dining table or chairs. We sit on the floor and use a small folding camping table for dining, laptop use, etc. Life in lotus on the floor is humble. Althoug...

Not something I’ve trialled specifically!

Yes, been doing it for years. Love the massage it give my body. I am more rested in the morning and my body feels stronger.

For me, it's a special occasion thing, not a regular thing. Feels good! 🤣

Do people sleep on their backs only for this? I can't imagine tummy sleepers would enjoy this. Even side sleepers seems painful
rieger_san · 108w
Yes, but I’m to old for this shit 😂
21seasons · 108w
Yeah, it's much better than top or ceiling 👍

I sleep on the floor on a futon by choice. I had back pain issues and it helped me to fix them, it is important that you get used to sleep on your back though. Sleeping on your tummy on the floor is not really comfortable. When travelling unfortunately I cannot always sleep on the floor, as my wife ...

Yeah, not recommended
Martial · 108w
Yes. For two years using a blanket. NowI have a japanese futon. It's honestly the best, after a small time for your muscles to adapt. It's only a pain when I'm sick. Then everything hurts even more...
satsminded · 108w
Incremental change I'd the way so body can adapt

Don’t tell me we are supposed to sell our chairs and our beds now? 😂
zebra · 108w
Yes, in the first two weeks of rusian invasion I slept almost every day in basement on the floor on boards. Plus sounds of shelling outside. But try is not proper word because it was against my will
zebra · 108w
So I won't recommend sleep on the floor and also don't recommend live close to russia )

I recall hearing a podcast where a stoic follower made himself do this. On a rare occasion I have been tempted to try. Have you? What has been your experience?
Flobee · 108w
I did it for years, I honestly preferred it. Married now otherwise I probably still would. Mattresses and kinda fiat
Mariusz Kogen · 108w
stable floor, something to support your head and blanket is all you need 😅
Luke · 108w
I have a bad back and had to do this for many years, on top of carpet & a sleeping bag. Now I live in a hardwood-flooring-only house and was forced to move to a bed. Even though I found the stiffest mattress I could, I often yearn for the floor again.
