Finally got the miner hooked up to my HVAC. I put it on the intake side of the furnace.
There are heating coils that the gas typically warms up to around 135F and lets the coils do most of the work heating the home. By putting the miner on the input side, I have increased the temperature of the coils from 73F to 83.6F when the gas isn’t warming them.
My hope is that my miner will help offset the gas having to turn on as frequently to keep my home warm. Not only am I heating the coils, I’m also pushing warmer air from my miner through the ducts.
