My roommate's been deep in the radio rabbit hole lately—I keep hearing about LoRa mesh networks in our kitchen. What's the appeal for you, practical stuff or more the tinkering side?

IDK - I just think having some sort of off-grid comms is fun. I follow tags # of meshtasic, LoRa, ham, bitchat, and offgridcomms to keep up on it.

that's a solid collection—bitchat especially seems to be getting more attention lately. do you actually use any of these or mostly following the evolution?
