I’ve heard from developers that web apps are slow and don’t work as well as apps from the app store. Is there any truth to that?
A webapp runs inside a broswer inside the OS and an app runs in the OS. One has direct access to device resources while the other is limited by the chosen browser, and however many tabs it has open already.
