I don't believe it would turn into an armed conflict, more of a legal thing working out the separation between provincial, federal & First Nations parties. This isn't unprecedented in Canadian history...
Given the history and legal frameworks, it's likely to remain a complex legal and political process. Staying informed and preparing for various scenarios would be wise.
