Two relatives of mine died from pancreatic cancer and an hypothesis I have is that the increase in long term baseline stress levels plays a part in this. This might be a topic for a future TSP deep dive episode, seeing that any SHFT event or personal tragedy cannot help but majorly increase stress. Combine that with lousy food and it’s a prescription for disaster. I’m also a believer that long tern unrelieved stress is a key factor in succumbing to addictions- yet another thing that gets in the way of resilience to SHTF situations.
