Toyota charging for service manuals is just evil. Anyone in the auto industry know why? Seems odd. https://m.primal.net/NWYn.jpg

The newer the vehicle the more likely you need technical information to service your vehicle. Simple things like replacing brake pads and bleeding brake systems require specific instructions AND a bidirectional scan tool.

I would recommend alldata.com for service information on your vehicle.

I would recommend a scan tool by TOPDON. The topscan pro is an inexpensive full capability scan tool. The purchase price includes the databases for a year. The tool runs $100 and is on sale often.
