Some SaaS will definitely die. Irony is that some SaaS wont even need to be replaced to die. Take Microsoft for example... they are vibe coding all of windows and breaking shit every other update now....
Yep, between shipping broken shit and then having just dreadful enterprise support, they're kicking their own ass. We just recently finished the W11 transition and thankfully our environment is very tightly locked down so we don't have many problems at the OS level.
Outside of that, we've almost completely removed Microsoft from our org save for just a few token Office 365 licenses that execs refuse to give up. Google is also doing a great job eating their lunch by offering crazy pricing -- they were one of the companies I was alluding to and Gemini wipes the floor with CoPilot.
