Civilians were very far from the border, as when this video was taken in the summer of 2024, more than 94,000 people in Lebanon had been displaced from the border area as well as 53,000 Israelis on the other side. The catapult was being used to burn the vegetation that could've been used by Hezbollah as a cover to get to the border wall. The only target on this occasion was the shrubbery.
