I told my mother about bitcoin for years and she was like “yeah, cool, nah.” She’s in her 70s.
And then I was like “The HRF eg @gladstein is doing cool shit for human rights with bitcoin.”...
I started giving friends and family opendimes with sats to get them started. It works!! They want to know more. In the process I let them scan the QR-code with Blue Wallet so they can watch the progress and receive sats. I totally send them some on their birthdays.
