The US objectives seem to be:
* Stop Iran Nuclear ??? (how, vague)
* Cripple the Iranian air and ground military....

Just forget about any stated goals and look at Gaza.
This is what Israel and the US are aiming for. Another desert with piles of rubble.
They couldn't care less about the Iranians they wanted to take the streets, about yet another civil war tearing up the next region, for a decade.
