Been wondering. Seen the question asked, why are most clients basically the same; the answer seems simple enough: the primitives used to build nostr are focused on one thing, essentially.
Which gets...
its is a good question.
what is the point of the internet? it was supposedly going to allow free exchange of ideas and connectivity to break down barriers. so in that sense it was intended to be a social network really.
what I find difficult on nostr is to find groups to connect with like-minded people or similar interests.
also for sales. something like an Etsy (without the horrific fees) for people to easily sell things they make.
I do woodworking as a side hustle and sell locally, most of my pieces arent ideal for international shipping but if they were I have no idea how I'd start marketing it on here.
