@nprofile1q... i see there has been some talk (mostly on LinkedIn and in NZ Herald columns) that this "unfairly benefits people in cities, mostly auckland, and in any case most people drive making this a handout to the liberal elite and their electric buses".

There is simply no point trying to win some people over.
