For beginners, new coiners, Valet also has Hosted channels, an anonymous but custodial Lightning implementation that enable seamless and cost effective Lightning onboarding. This is particularly useful for local Bitcoin communities where most users may not be able to afford self-custodial lightning usage due to liquidity requirements.
