Har — this weekend there was a small traveling funfair in our town with a huge number of claw machines, just banks and banks of them. After observing for a while I had to conclude that the money inserted in those machines is a tax on deficient faculties of observation. It’s so obviously rigged, but most people still think it’s their lack of skill.
