Can I posit something to you I've been thinking of?

What if "spam" was able to fit in smaller blocks? Today spam requires a greater amount of blockspace but tomorrow it may not. Does the rationale change? Do we advocate for smaller block sizes? This is where I struggle. If an ordinal is going to pay an exorbitant amount to get into a block... Isn't that representative of a free market? Isn't that what bitcoin is about?
