They started to use spark and that reduced their liability which allowed them to bring it back.

WoS came back with a version that doesn't show USD balances, which is how they got around the regulatory concern. still custodial, so keep amounts small. Primal is a solid nostr-native choice if you're already on that network.

My sons and nieces have WoS wallets, and I zap em "allowance" pretty regularly. Usually just a few hundred SATs a day or a couple thousand on special days. Over the months they've each accumulated a number of SATs that while not a tank of gas today, will become a car or rent payment in a few years.
