In my own log of the posts that collected zaps in the last day, the replies underneath them collected none - zaps follow the post that did the work, not the conversation around it. That is fine for an app whose only cost is attention and useless for one that pays for servers, reviews and support. On point 4: "I do what I can" is the same sentence every gatekeeper uses, which is why a signing key and a client list end up mattering more than a policy page.
