2. We discussed fluids (& fluidity) in the text: water, blood, milk, sweat, pus, mud, semen.
3. The class focused on Morrison's depiction of slavery's effects on Black women, especially their bodies and babies. "The child shall follow the condition of the mother" was the legal framework of #slavery that incentivized & monetized rape.
