@nprofile1q... right on.. maybe you could cut out a leather insert to slide into the sole of your cancer socks instead of plastic for a more “barefoot” feeling and puncture protection? The goo might even bond to it through the cloth..

I was going to cut up one of those goo cancer gel sole inserts for that part...
