As much as I'd love to believe that, all it takes is for the government to close all on-ramps, figure out your wallet address, then go after you for that. That's why a lot of people like Monero: it takes care of that last part, but the on-ramp issue is still a problem.

Bitcoin is an improvement, for sure, but it's not perfect or flawless.
