You own the hardware, you make the choice. But that choice isn't neutral. Running Knots over Core isn't just technical - it's a vote. A statement. Politics by other means.
The question isn't whether it's politics, but whether distributed politics is better than centralized politics. Most would say yes. Even if it means we all have slightly different blockchains.
