Just after a few hours on the network, I have found the response very, very interesting. Knowing nothing about the culture of the app, I can already tell that negativity is a bit of a “thing” here. In some cases, it almost feels like people take pride in it.
That said, I think it’s also a reflection of society as a whole. Alongside the negativity, there are also genuinely kind, supportive people like you who can see the bigger picture and appreciate things that others might dismiss as unimportant.
As someone who’s still discovering this space, it’s encouraging to see that both sides exist. The supportive interactions I’ve had so far make me excited to stick around and contribute in my own way.
