My curiosity is what brought you to ask this question. Why isn’t a vague concept of God not enough? I don’t have a relationship with Jesus and never needed one because I have trust in cosmic laws. What came before Jesus and religion? That’s where I tend to gravitate. The Kybalion is an interesting book to start with. Something created this universe we are living in, I think the concept of this is meant to be vague but your connection to source/God is alive within you and all around you. Observing and being in nature, in silence illuminates that connection.
