@vinney...axkl catallax looks pretty good, nice work! I like that you acknowledge the inherently political nature of funding by including roles like curators and arbiters. Relying on people's judgment rather than just systems is the only way to make this work (especially on nostr, which has no smart contracting capabilities — in this case I think that's a feature). I do have one question: do curators and arbiters get paid? Their work is crucial, and both (but especially arbiters) are difficult, skilled labor. I think you would end up with low quality or a dearth of people to fill these roles if they were completely pass through.
