There are a few places in the US that have banned facial recognition, Amazons ring cameras don't even allow access to their facial recognition feature if you live in those jurisdictions.
Normally I wouldn't be adocating a political solution but we need more local and state level bans ASAP. The control grid is being put into place very quickly, if we don't fight back it is going to get very dark very quickly.
