So for bitcoin to be quantum resistant it can't be spent. Then it's not money.
Maybe a reserve asset but not p2p money.
What I meant here is you don’t need to worry about quantum computing cracking your private key and stealing your funds if you have not spent it from the same address (which exposes the public key).
Obviously, when quantum becomes operational at higher qubits, we have to fork the code to add quantum-resistant cryptography.
