When bitcoin is $1 million plus no one will care if you bought at 50k or 150k. It will just be a rounding error at that point.

I do try to think like that but then I think you can buy 3x the amount of Bitcoin at 50k as opposed to 150k. I you are just DCAing a small bit of fiat every month then sure, it might not make a huge difference, but if you smash bought a larger amount it could make a more meaningful difference in terms of reducing time frame you gain your financial freedom.

I'm not sure how a margin provider works but I would question the ethics if what is happening behind the scenes is that fiat is being printed in order to lend it. In effect you are labouring future generations with inflation because of debasement to create the loan?

Any time anyone gets a loan from the bank for any reason, even for something like a mortgage, that money is created from nothing. Crazy to think about like that way, but that is how the fiat system works. It requires debt.
