That's absolutely spot on that Matt👏🏻, sounds like some of Thom Yorkes solo stuff. I just throw my compositions together in a matter of hours (Usually pissed). You can tell you're a sound engine...
The funny thing with that track was it was super quick... The guitar and bass, were they not swamped in delay, sound fucking terrible! 🤣 drums were from a Pocket Operator and processed live (ie no automation, just bending EQ and delays) but it did capture a mood. Some tracks are just like that (and always the ones I prefer) others torture me forever and turn out like absolute shit.
Am excited about the new EP though, whatever it is, I think it's a good summary of where my brain's at right now. Doubt I'll ever get the Justin Beiber gig but I'll have a lot of fun anyway.
