๐Ÿ“˜ Silicon, by Federico Faggin โ€” memoir of the microprocessor inventor, blending tech innovation with deep reflections on consciousness.

Quote: โ€œWe can build a robot that detects the molecules of a rose and identifies itโ€”but it would have no feeling of the smell, no awareness, because a machine has no consciousness.โ€

๐Ÿ“• The Kybalion โ€” timeless Hermetic philosophy on mentalism, analogy & polarity as keys to reality.

Quote: โ€œMind (as well as metals and elements) may be transmuted, from state to state; degree to degree; condition to condition; pole to pole; vibration to vibration.โ€
Thanks for the recommendation, @preston.

๐Ÿ“— Anatomy of the State, by Murray N. Rothbard โ€” a sharp critique showing how the state thrives on coercion & propaganda.

Quote: "Just as the two basic and mutually exclusive interrelations between men are peaceful cooperation or coercive exploitation, production or predation, so the history of mankind, particularly its economic history, may be considered as a contest between these two principles. On the one hand, there is creative productivity, peaceful exchange and cooperation; on the other, coercive dictation and predation over those social relations.

If the seventeenth through the nineteenth centuries were, in many countries of the West, times of accelerating social power, and a corollary increase in freedom, peace, and material welfare, the twentieth century, has been primarily an age in which State power has been catching upโ€”with a consequent reversion to slavery, war, and destruction."

Reading books is good. Just remember to keep an open mind and come to your OWN conclusions. Sounds obvious but so many wave a flag. Nothing is at it appears ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ˜Ž

Anatomy of the State is a must read along with the Road to serfdom, they are short reads that unpack the workings of the state in a very logical manner. They read like they were written yesterday. Will check out the other two soon ๐Ÿค https://blossom.primal.net/3a16b5291a2c497609e0438d04ffa3a539b5...

Awesome! Thank you so much! Iโ€™ve had โ€œThe Kybalionโ€ and โ€œThe Anatomy of the Stateโ€ on the list for quite a while. This is a nice nudge to get on with it and create some episodes for them both. My audience loves that stuff as I do! My recommendations for you dear nostr:nprofile1qqsx5dvc2g...

Whoa, thanks for the tip. Anatomy of the State sounds really good. I'm not sure our preferences in literature overlap but If you want a couple recommendations anyway I'll give you mine. 1) The Holy Bible. I cant say I've read it cover to cover but I'm almost there and probably worth doing at least...
