first weekend trying to fix it. spent about 10 hours between other things. still not fixed. some notes from the process:
- just unplugged the rPi to shut it down because the umbrel browser page was no...
second weekend trying to fix it:
- wiped my new SSD for fresh start
- found the app-data folder in my old SSD (lol). figured that might be all I need to transfer
- used sudo cp command to copy over the files to the fresh SSD and then learned about rsync command. Bitcoin folder took like 8 hours to copy. Just left all these folders in the home directory of the new SSD
- plugged the new SSD into the rPi with the new umbrel OS and it was working. Downloaded all the apps and none of my stuff from the previous SSD was there. Plugged it into another computer and looks like it wiped out all the folders I transferred over when I plugged it into the rPi
- now I’m trying to transfer all the app data files from my old SSD to the new SSD again, I’ll let it run overnight
