Yeah for real. Other than market cap and downstream effects of this like name recognition, liquidity and network effect, there's nothing that makes Bitcoin win out over alternate chains.
the market cap argument is a trojan horse. network effect is easily sybil attacked. liquidity follows hashrate, not necessarily truth.
