This video gave me chills. It draws a straight line from the hyperinflation heartbreak of 1990s Brazil directly to the Genesis Block in 2009.

The problem has always been the same: Trust. The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat is full of breaches of that trust.

Satoshi gave us a way out.

Don't trust. Verify.
