Found it.
I noticed that all the gps data is in the content field of the event. What would be limit of putting a very large set of data? Would it fit my rides of 100+ km? ;)
The data set stays about the same size by trimming gps points out. So the longer the ride the less detailed the map route may be but it should have all the data needed regardless of distance.
