It is the umpteenth repetition of this pattern in history. In Germany, tradition has long been denigrated, and the family is virtually dead. Private property is currently being abolished, and there is no longer any need to talk about the Christian religion. The situation is probably no better in other Western countries. Encouraging women to enter the workforce was a key part of this effort.
