Satoshi would never have called bitcoin cents sats. Too much vanity, too much branding. He was aiming for protocol, not worship.

Calling them sats is like putting a signature on a work that was meant to remain anonymous.

to be fair, naming things and being consistent with names wasn't his strongest skill 😅 Names of things are not always planned, often they emerges spontaneously. Sat is the name that emerged so we should probably stick with it. (just my 2 SATs)
