#Wallabies just scraped past the #Springboks 42-38 in pure chaos.
Wallabies led 24-17 at the half after Ikitau bagged a brace and Lonergan was deadly from the tee. The Boks hit back with tries from Grobbelaar and van der Merwe, Pollard keeping them in it.
Second half was an arm-wrestle. Boks threw on a heap of experienced starters… still couldn’t get over the line.
Depth’s handy for rotation. Against a proper side though? You still need the first-choice lot more often than not.
And what a finish with the #Wallabies playing with 11 players after successive yellow cards!
