Suppose there is a company that makes purchasing decisions based on technical evaluation. Shouldn't we expect such a company to have more productive employees (since they're not fighting crap software) and be able to hire better employees (because their work environment looks more appealing to candidates) ?
And if so, shouldn't such a company outcompete a company that purchases based on expensive dinner for the CFO?
