Small uranium reactors will have long-term trouble competing with Chinese thorium reactors. Total life cycle costs may be as much as 35% lower, and the waste is much easier to deal with. The administration isn't addressing thorium at all, even though Chris Wright (a fracking guy) and Elon surely knows all about it.
