Reminds me of a "bitcoin" marketer a couple of years ago that was introduced to me. He sold himself like he was the ultimate genius when it comes to marketing to bitcoiners (showed some youtube channel numbers as proof of his skill) and offered his services to increase ticket sales for a bitcoin conference I was organizing.

Unfortunately he insisted that I pay upfront and his compensation not be based on performance i.e. ticket sales, so unfortunately I never got to test his talent 🥲
