Huh, apparently on Windows a Polaris card might have issues because the drivers don't support the latest DirectX 12 features
sucks to suck, DXVK and mesa stronk
not surprising. AMD has dropped ROCm support on Polaris. It broke dual card systems and I ended up having to use a container to isolate the supported card:
