I don't think Israel will lose in the short run. I think they will use chemical weapons to kill everybody in the tunnels and will get US support for it. I fear they may continue on and kill every last Palestinian, being unable to know who is and who isn't Hamas. I sympathize with innocent and aggrieved Palestinians so I hate that this is happening to them. But I won't let my hopes and desires interfere with my prediction engine.
