This spring, I got a micro-chip in my M1 MBP that killed the digitizer, prompting me to buy M4 MBP.
Less than 2 months (4 days before ability to buy AC+ expired), same thing in same place on display. Slightly diff outcome, but still required screen replacement.
M4 damage shown (getting worse).
