merge mining doesn't solve the problem though. it's complex, requires heavy consensus changes, and scalability is limited by the additional load placed on base chain miners. this is why i used a slashing quorum model for bitcoindeposits.net – once you fully separate activity from the chain, there's no ceiling

Monero implemented merge mining very easily for Tari and soon other chains. It wasn’t as difficult as is implied here.
