@nprofile1q... Yeah, I've done that. Replaced 1TB spinners with 4TB SSDs. 14 drives worth. (The other two were my boot pool mirror.)

It was tedious, and always a guess as to which physical drive you just removed from the vdev. Then you have to wait for the resilvering. And only after this week-long process do you finally see your storage expand.

Based on my personal history, I'm going to read this new book, and discover at least a few things that I should have done to make things better.
