@nprofile1q... I used to commute for 4 to 5 hours a day and I actually cherished those hours after a while of grumping about it :)

I wrote in my journal, read so many books, had great talks with other commuters, wrote poetry (one of my favourite poems I wrote was written on a trainride home)

The thing that made it the best was that I didn't have to concentrate on anything other than getting out at the right train station. It was so freeing, actually!

Also, not seeing it as transit time, but as me-time worked so well.
