IMHO it’s a good default. Most people are going to have pretty pointless lives, particularly under a fiat regime, and having kids lets you grow, change, and extend yourself in ways that are impossib...
Ill tell you I have no idea if I would have gotten more from life with children because I never had any so how can one say that. But ill add I was never against having children and was 100% open to the idea. My blessings in this life have so far been things other than a partner/kids. Not up to me to say if that ever changes.
