@nprofile1q... I think part of it is certainly a lack of comprehension about the sharp cliff edge between code that produces output you can judge and iterate on until you're happy with it, and code that *does things in the real world* i.e. Agentic AI is ChatGPT with your credit card and car keys.
It's not subtle, but it's been very dangerously glossed over with "maybe this generation of chatbots are a bit clunky, but if you make them agentic magic happens." Yes. Dark terrible cursed magic.
