I stopped watching the tour after the Jan Ullrich Doping scandal in the late 90's. A whole nation of naive supporters were taken for fools, lol
I started at the end of the 90s with Pantani, but in the end almost everyone was taking doping which levelled the races a bit. Today there are excessive controls, but perhaps the doubt is legitimate
