The true reason it failed - “almost” nobody cared about it. The small -but loud- BIP110 supporters are only a tiny minority. The (quite) majority does simply not want to argue about such unimportant stuff with a group of people how won’t listen….. How can you honestly think that a majority of bitcoiners does support it….. swallow your pride and let’s fight the important fights - i.e. adoption, privacy, security
